What many of you might not know is that I am a teacher. In fact, I'm a teacher twice over. For the past 11 years I've studied and practiced yoga and in 2010, I began teaching yoga. That's around the same time Vira Creative was born. Vira, if you haven't read up on my website, is a Sanskrit term (yoga uses the Sanskrit language) for warrior or hero. So the loose translation is creative warrior.
More recently I've accepted a position at Saint Xavier University. This is exciting as I get to combine my love of teaching with my passion for marketing. At Saint Xavier University I teach advertising concepts to Art, Graphic Design, Communication and Business majors. Now, I'm about to let the cat out of the bag here so hold on to your hats. Beginning in May, I'll also be teaching a Branding and Marketing course at Harrington College of Design. At Harrington I'll be teaching branding and marketing concepts to Photography majors, these are students who are likely to start up their own companies one day, much like you and I.
So how does this benefit you and why should you keep on reading? Well, have an appropriate project for students which needs to be completed you have the opportunity to SXU or Harrington students complete your project under my supervision! This means your project is completed on time and for little to no budget. Students can accept compensation for their time and energy however it is up to you. The students appreciate the real world, real client experience and it helps them build their portfolios. I appreciate that the situation can be a win-win for everyone. Past clients appreciate being a part of student growth.
Examples of projects which were recently competed for one clients are, a SWOT analysis researched by the students and a direct mail post card designed by the students.
